HELPDESK AGENT – GERMAN

Salary: €22,800 + bonus + benefits
Location: Dublin
ROLE:
To answer all calls in relation to the sale of our client’s Products on the GDS (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus, Worldspan) and the company’s websites to ensure that customer queries are handled effectively and professionally.
To answer all GDS queue messages from Travel Agents and Airlines to ensure a high quality of service to the Travel Trade.
Daily email handling according to defined turnaround times thus ensuring an efficient service to our web customers.
To log calls according to the defined procedure so that root cause analysis of common problems can be determined.
Process all calls in a timely, accurate and courteous manner, in a way that enhances the company’s image in the Travel Industry.
Identify and research the root cause of reported problems to ensure the continuous improvement of the websites.
Problem solving – to identify and communicate suggestions for reducing or eliminating problems and implement them where appropriate in order to continuously improve processes.
Adhoc projects that maybe assigned to you by your Team Leader.
To be fully conversant with the company’s Mission Vision & Values and seek to fulfil them and promote them in day-to-day activities.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Thorough Knowledge of The Excalibur System.
Fluency in German.
Excellent standard of English.
A minimum of 6 months experience in reservations.
Excellent team player.
Must possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal (including professional telephone manner).
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
