Provide a front line telephone sales service for inbound customers calling for advice and assistance in choosing and ordering company products. Promote products and promotions to all callers requesting general information. Some limited out-bounding activities will also be required.
Translate prospects into customers through the application of telesales techniques within company guidelines. Achieve individual and contribute towards team sales target. Own customers from quote to cash. Seek to build rapport with customers so that they will actively seek the agent to process their next product requirement. Data capture all relevant customer information within CRM system. Provide immediate response to sales related telephone calls, faxes, E-Mails and post from customers. Liaise closely with and escalate with operations team on deliveries, invoicing, shipping, documentation, miss-shipments and credit control issues. Actively work with and support team members in sharing key information to encourage higher level of product knowledge.
Minimum 2 years sales experience. Excellent customer interaction skills (via telephone and email). Strong organizational and administration skills. Be a self-starter who is motivated and innovative. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High volume data entry skills. Complex problem solving capability. Typing skills (c 30 wpm). Ability to work effectively with other departments and utilise a team approach to accomplishing goals. Experience of working in a pressurised environment which is target driven. Have an excellent command (written and oral) of the English language. Be a confident and enthusiastic communicator. Have strong organisational and administrative skills. Have a high stress tolerance level.
